Being vulnerable is a part of being an artist. I create music and put it out into the world with the hopes people will relate. I feel especially vulnerable with this release, because I’m singing. Yeah, I’ve sang on tracks before- but I’ve experienced a ton of hate from online commenters, which has definitely brought on some self-doubt.

Finally, I said fuck it. I’m not going to keep all of this music on my hard drive- where ideas and unfinished songs go to die. I’m going to release it into the world. So….

From Jump is a reflection on jumping into a relationship too early. They do say “fools rush in”, but it’s hard to pump the breaks when you are really feeling someone. I was caught up in not knowing where to go. Should I stay? Should I go? I guess you have to listen to the song to find out more 🙂
